        Phase 1 Definition:
        Ornamentation is a non-rasm presentation layer of the text, including script variants and visual or recitational marks.
        Normalization is the operating layer produced by applying the fixed rules listed above.
        This page displays the transformation from ornamented text to normalized text side-by-side for transparency.
        The Criterion is the baseline.
        There is no ornamented Criterion file in Phase 1.
        Ornamented files are provided only for witnesses that have an ornamented presentation layer.
